Bats bats bats, my new editions, all sponsor bought.
« on: August 14, 2014, 11:17:56 AM »

Some may or may not have noticed I advertised for bats in 2.14 in the wanted section as changed my preferred weight, and as usually went over the top. And bought a few.

B3 butterfly in "DW" profile.
Red ink using h4l oversized cleft
H4l devil monster tempo
Maverick colossus
Nemesis

Non are g1 all lower grade models, after using a b3 butterfly all year I've lost interest in g1, there is performance available cheaper.

Cheers to vitas, Uzi, red ink, h4l and b3 for sorting me out,

Laver and wood ont he way, when they pull there finger out!

Been waiting for this!

The DW is bigger than I had in mind! Favourite 2 are obviously the H4L and Red Ink, are they all 2.14 and do they all pick up the way you like them? I know you prefer bats which feel their weight, but that preference may have changed when you decided to change weights!

Please tell me the Laver coming is going to be a Mega profile, and that you ordered a 2.12, as that will shoot up to 2.14! ;)

Three more and you've got a decent rugby pack there!  ;) ;)

Chad.

The b3 and maverick are spot on. H4l and red ink a tad heavier. And the nemesis a tad lighter.

He b3 maverick have an awesome pick up. Nemesis is neutral.  And the 3 feel very similar when swinging.

The red ink and h4l feel there weight so pick up heavier than the other 3.

The b3 "dw" is a decent size bat. And to get a 2.14 I had to choose a heavy cleft. This means if you get the right cleft  a dw in 2.9/10 will be the same size!

The red ink is my favourite and has a chance of being 2015 mat h bat.

The red ink is indeed huge!! How i specd it

Can't wait to see my DW in the flesh, light cleft and only seen a couple of photos of it (on b3 love thread) looks huge!

Spoke to Dave and he rates the shape and response - said it was up there with his legendary 1271 Trott bat

Cracking collection of bats by the way mate, all a touch too heavy for a weakling like myself!

Calling 'Dibs' on that B3 beast if you can't get on with it!
