There have been a lot of Butterfly willow bats on display and, even though I am not fully convinced, when BB or more specifically Buzz, i think, posted the hulk bat my jaw dropped and there was drool all over the floor
. I was fortunate to be online and PM'd BB regarding Hulk shape in butterfly willow that they had mentioned was coming soon, I was sent pictures back but to be honest I didn't know what to look for in butterfly willow so I let them pick a bat for me, as usually with BB and RPC I trust their judgement more than mine and have never been steered wrong
.
So here is the beast, I was told it is around 2'9-2'10 and I took the grip off to add the heavier GM ripple grip. Handle is a bit thin due to which the pick is a little bottom heavy, adding the GM grip helped. Then I started knocking it and bouncing the ball on it, what I thought would be used as a net bat has blown me away so far with how well it responds. It hasn't had match time yet but over next 2 weeks this will be getting used and terrorizing the bowlers, if I can connect that is
.
This bat came up when I was looking for get my mate a bat and he went with RPC, I ended up with BBB and RPC
. I really need to stop buying/helping mates

Again the pics are off my phone, coin on the edge is biggest Canadian coin to give you some idea of the size. Pressing on this is soft(ish), mallet indents the face easily but doesn't create a huge crater. Tai and Mike were both excellent to deal with as always, so if anyone wants a huge bat that pings call them up and you will be very happy. One last thing, I can't really tell if butterfly stain does anything as it is above the playing area on this bat although I don't think this needs any help from the stain
