My new Puma Platinum 6000 Limited
« on: August 29, 2014, 01:40:44 AM »

Today I received my new Puma Platinum 6000 Limited bat that I ordered from Pro Direct Sports.

It is a real beauty with 9/10 lovely grains, thick edges (41/42 mm edges), no concaving whatsoever and it weighs only 2.9.5 and it actually picked up like 2.8.It also had a nice sub-continental bow (which I love). It looks softly pressed with a flat toe. It's made in India.

Enjoy the pics (sorry for the quality, taken with my cell).

Well done mate, that's nicer than the White Editions I saw at GCCC the other week!

Are they all flat faced now??
One of my teammates has a top of the range white (I think) edition.

The new ranges look really smart (especially with matching softs!)

Looks like a beast, lovely grains running through the toe. The handle looks thick is that one grip?

Very nice. Looks pretty big for weight and no concaving. Any measurements?

Great bat for the price!

Kal - Do you have enough to set up your own shop yet?! I thought I was bad! ;)

Kal,

That's a great looking bat. Beautiful grains and looks pretty big for weight. Well good luck and if you ever feel like getting rid of it let me know.

Kicking myself for not completing the order from the office.

It's just one grip but the handle is on the skinny side.

The edges are around 41/42 mm and the spine is around 63/64 mm and picks up really light.

Almost Phil  ;). Thanks to the forum I have the OCD syndrome, if I see a nice bat I have to buy it. I received a new WillowStix from IJC today. I am trying hard to resist but can't help myself.

Will do Tejas. I will be in NJ (Plainsboro) over the Sep 14th weekend and I will be happy to show it if you want to see.

Sure...Let me know when you're in town and we'll figure something out. It's time we start having some sort of north american forum meets.
