Yeah great find i watched it all!
Thats some amazing scientific testing going on there! Although i dont see how it can be very accurate using a really thin piece of willow like that lol!

I am not a great supporter of material changes on the cricket bat. Otherwise it would become like baseball, although still a number of sluggers still prefer wood.

All 3 are Absolutely Brilliant Andy - It makes you want to go back, and get amongst it doesnt it?
That Warsop video from 1945 predates Chris Farrants time at the company by about 20 years as he started in about 65? but he may have known some of the characters getting around in it. Ill forward it on to him and Mike.
