My b3 butterfly
« on: August 30, 2014, 10:54:31 PM »

I know there has been a lot of butterfly bats been put up in here, but I felt I had to share mine.

Firstly the bat cover I bought with the bad offers great protection and fits the bat very well.

The bat itself weighs just over 2.9

Has pretty big edges and spine (can provide measurements if wanted)

If you look behind the butterfly stain the bat has 8 straight and even grains that go nicely through the toe of the bat.

I've only used a mallet on the bat and bounced a ball on it, it seems to go very well especially very low on the blade.

The amount of concaving is usually a bit too much for me but I had to go for the DB1 shape to keep the weight down, the pick up is good but not the best I've ever felt. It has a small bow but nothing extravagant.

The thing that has impressed me most about the bat is how long the middle is it goes well out of the middle well up high and as I've mentions it goes like a train very low on the blade.

Enjoy the pictures, apologies for the poor phone quality pictures and my awful photography.

That is a lovely profile and does seem like an extended middle.
I need to get a butterfly bat soon :)

Had a few throw downs with it today went really well, will keep you updated when I finally get into the nets and have a proper hit with this gun.
