End of season clean up
« on: August 31, 2014, 08:52:08 PM »

As my season finished yesterday, (both gutted and pleased it's over!) thought id clean up my Recoil!

Removed the scuff sheet which took a while but did so with a hair dryer and care. Took a very small bit of willow out if the face but it's not in the hitting area.  I've now removed the toe guard and sanded it by hand, oiled the blade and toe.  Surprised at how well the bat is holding up!

Next up is getting a new toe guard and scuff sheet!
