We do in friendlies when both teams are short and lend a couple of fielders to each other.

Yep, played in the winter in Aus. Good laugh but it can have a negative affect on your batting. I got into bad habits and was looking to hit everything in the nets during pre season rather than getting back into top order "Leave/block/bad ball" thought process.

But as a social it's great fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it...

Yeah I play it. It's fairly good fun, fielding is dull though. Luckily I keep so not too bad.

There are quite a few of us who play in London at Regent's Park on various nights of the week on here. If you enjoy your cricket and can't get out most Saturday's, it's a great game to play, and as yu've said, very social.

I know what you mean about smacking every ball!

As the worst LMS team in the world we always lose. Which in a odd way is quite refreshing because we do not have the stress of if we might win or not.

We can focus on our own goals etc!

We always field in super close to keep it interesting. When I have played for other teams they just put everybody on the boundary and that is no fun!

I think they should introduce a circle, keep 2 fielders in the circle or something like that?! what do you think?

The first time we played we kept the field up as we didn't really know what we were doing and managed to roll the oppo (best side in our league) for 80 and chase it in 7 overs.

We lost in the Essex league final last week to a team we had already beaten twice previously!  ???
