Does anyone know when the official range launch is? I think it's very soon as there are snippets on twitter etc but can't find a date

Ian Bell will be using the Kahuna range next year.

That's interesting! Ian Bell has always used the somewhat more fringe models (Menace, Impulse spring to mind).

Having just seen the softs range and being in the market for some for 2015 I think this may be the season that I move away from Kookaburra for the first time in 9 years.

The pads in particular appear to be a much inferior quality to the GN and GM ranges this year.  In terms of appearance, just too busy.  The colours could work well, but they seem to be getting louder year after year...

Pleased I've still got my kahuna pro pads and gloves then as I reckon kook softs are hard to beat!

Kook are seem to be the marmite (or veggiemite) of the cricket, occasionally i like their gear (Kahuna range), but mostly I see better elsewhere.

Bells gloves look nice.

I need to know if there is gonna be a heavy decent shaped kook though.

They do - although he does look rather confused as to why he's wearing them.

Don't like those colours, the dark green kahuna is much better.

You could say that for most kook colours...
