t20 Champions League...
« on: September 13, 2014, 07:56:04 PM »

not really sure of the point of this tournament, other than as a money spinner.

bit in the mean time.

COME ON LAHORE!

I would love to see the Pakistani champions win the thing given the hardships they have, plus none of them get to play in the ipl.

I saw the Lions' inning which was decent. MI bowlers were very accurate and there were lot of dot balls. I missed the Lions' bowling -- seems they managed to restrict the MI to a low score. Overall, they played well. :thumbsup

Which channel is this on?

Eurosport in the UK, although they didn't show this particular match today due to showing another sport.

This was certainly massive win for Lahore Lions'. These same players are paid 30GBP per game while playing in domestic Twenty20 tournament in Pakistan and they conquered the laddies of Mukesh Ambani.

On equipment note, I saw Ahmed Shahzad being sponsored by SS/TON, might be for this tournament.

Yeah I noticed that too! Looks like all the ND lads have the kook pads, probably because no other company would make pink ones!!

Mumbai Indians go home!

Amusing that pollard is playing for Mumbai, and on his way home, instead of the carribean team he captained in the ct20. And there still in the tournament. Lol.

Still find it disappointing that English teams don't get a go in this :(. Could never take something like this seriously unless it was being done fairly by the ICC.

Northen Knights are my team  :). Williamson and Flynn both went to the same school as me, Boult down the road. Our first game of the season is against a local side and I've been told Boult and Anderson will both be playing to get match practice before the SA series. Good lord, I could be slipping down the order for that game.
