Personally I have had 5 GN bats in the last 2 years and still have 4 of them and they all perform very well. In fact my oblivion e41 would be one of the top 3 bats I own and arguably ever have and it's only been used about 5 times and is just unreal.

Personally GN is I think one company where performance is almost guaranteed along with a few others never seen a bad GN and I see a lot in my area and club. Certainly better than GM in the fact they perform from the off and are no where near as hard pressed. The only one I sold was a powerbow strike from Jake and that was because a lad at the club had 80 budget and was going to by a SD slazenger so I sold him my powerbow strike brand new and that pinged very well also

Guess it's like most though and that's opinions

Also when I get the bat I'll do a decent review. Why do people also think it's a G2/3 the one I have has clean blade with no blemish, straight and even grains so according to wrights is G1 is it not?

For me the one on the right is certainly G1 and the one on the left for me G2.

Not a fan of those stickers! Would of been Interesting to sit in on the marketing meeting when it was discussed to brand a bat based on someone's tattoo. It's just not cricket!!

My understanding was that they were all made in India, like all the other bats of this grade in the Gray-Nics range...

Your understanding is correct unless you want to get a custom made in the higher grade willow

Both of your understandings are wrong.

Grays make some bats at Robertsbridge through the season if for example a certain model sells out. I have a Vortex 5 Star that i believe has been made in the UK. The differences are pretty easy to spot if you've seen enough.

The fact these bats have been available for a while now, and in a limited quantity, before the main shipment comes from India adds further suggestion to where they have been made.

Does the Lucky 7 have a more rounder or a flat face?
