We have a kit sponsor, a sponsor for our accademy training shirts and (I think) 8 or 9 advertising boards on the boundary nearest the clubhouse.

What sized clubs are these? How many Saturday afternoon sides? I know of a club in Cornwall with 60 sponsors. Also someone on here mentioned he got 35 sponsors all to donate 250 quid. That's loads!!

For a club that size you should have more advertisement out at your club. We have about 15 sponsors but need well over 25 really. I ask the question because I'm sponsorship secretary and like to know how other UBS do on that front. I don't seem to be doing that bad really and always bringing in more.

We are trying to get as many boards and banners as possible. This gives a better impression at the club to all the outsiders. Gives more back to the sponsors as well.

We only have a main shirt sponsor. Might be looking for. Training kit one for next year but will have to see.

The problem with kit sponsorship is if they don't carry it on, you are stuck.

You need to nail someone down for 3-5 years for shirt sponsorship.

We have just moved away from it as we have a number of kits from the past few years.

Several boards up, but to be honest, they don't really do anything for the companies it is more of a goodwill gesture.

 Looking into website ones.

Looking at sponsor days.

Hoping to organise match ball/match day sponsors.

Looking at organising a small cup competition (one day, two pitches, four teams).

All our sponsors additionally have links and advertising scroll on our website.  We try to put money back into our sponsors i.e
our senior shirt sponsor is the venue where we hold our dinner dance so they easily get there money back, we have a pre season meal at another sponsors restaurant, with around 100 plus members attending etc etc

We have a local brewery as our main sponsor. (I've heard a figure thrown around of how much this is, but they make us use their beer so whatever the value of the sponsorship is, we only pay it back with inflated beer prices.)
1st team shirt sponsor
20/20 shirt sponsor
1st team tracksuit sponsor
Junior section sponsor
Under 11's sponsor
About 10 signs around the ground
Every match ball is sponsored (£30 a ball)
Most 1st team home games are sponsored (Around £300 a game)

How many clubs do match ball sponsors? I have been looking at this for a few months now and think I will start it for next season. Even if I can find £20 for each week for the home games that's another £400 towards the club at least.
