hip protection
« on: September 15, 2014, 08:26:25 PM »

Managed to get hit just above the thigh pad from a fairly sharp bowler a few weeks ago wearing my p2 strippers.

This resulted in a fairly big bruise, but then a couple of weeks ago I pulled a muscle in my side bowling as a result and have been struggling since then.

I've been looking at the old v5.0 versions of the strippers with the bigger hip protector and just wondered if anywhere still sold them or if there are any alternatives.

Stretton foxes come with a hip protecter.

Not that I use mine. It stays in the bag.

I got one with mine too, think I used it once then decided my spare tyre was adequate protection for that part of my body!
