Who's the up and coming talent that will play for England? A friend of mine got his first class debut yesterday for notts. Hoping he can go on and have a successful cricketing career!

Sam Hain, played up in Scotland when he was about 13/14 and averaged over 100 at an ok level of cricket. Looks to have really kicked on and is already racking up big runs for Warks.

Look out for jake Libby. Hope the nerves don't get the better of him today on his first game! Opening up with hales.

Really like the look of Will Rhodes and Matt Fisher at Yorkshire - Fisher especially, only 16 and has already opened the bowling for England U19.

He's declared himself, and i quote, a 'fair dinkum pom'

He was born in Hong Kong or somewhere like that to British Parents, so god knows what naionality you'd call him. But he seems to have nailed his colours to the England mast. Which is pretty handy!

Also like to add the obvious pairing of Reece Topley & Tymal Mills plus i really like the look of Ateeq Javid, real combative utility player type, next few years will determine whether he becomes a bowler who can bat or a batsman who can send down the odd over, either way, seems a real scrapper!

Born in Hong Kong to two British parents, brought up in Oz, but did a few years School in Scotland, chose england over Oz in 2013 when he signed for Warks.

I think a lot of the time youngsters make it purely on luck of getting the nod at the right time. My friend playing today (jake Libby) has only got the nod because notts can't win the league. Would have been a completely different scenario if they could still win it. He's currently churning on 25*.

Confusing!! As you say...born in Hong Kong to British parents, educated in Queensland Aus. Played for Queensland age groups and Aus U-19.
But seems to want to play for England. He certainly looks like a huge talent so will be interesting to know who he will play for......and when?

Seen the lad Hosain took 7 catches on debut yesterday, only about 16/17 years old. Amazing to have experienced that level so early on, the exposure to it will no doubt stand him in good stead!

Played against Cheeky when he must have been about 12, was already at least as good as me back then.
