Yes - All my kit must match

Colours have to match - I'm not too fussed by the brand

Some of my kit matches - Matching kit is nice but it's not the end of the world if it's not all matching

All my kit matches inc softs shoes helmet bag and bat. I think it is more common now to see players with matching kit and not just sponsored players in fact one of the opposition who I hadn't played against for 20 seasons  until  2014 said he remembered me because  of my matching GN kit.

Ever since under 15s cricket I have removed the stickers from my bats and played with a blank piece of wood.

Gloves and pads the best ones that were in the biggest sale.

For 2 years I was sponsored so had to use matching kit.

My Gloves, Pads, whites and helmet kind of match. I do have a matching pair of shoes by SG like rest of my kit but I just go with another pair which has rubber spikes.

Three of my bats have blue, white and black grips which i consider to be neutral colors and go with most kits.

I think generally the older you get the less you care. One guy in our club once out to bat with two different pads and two different gloves!

Perhaps there is a direct correlation between playing ability and matching kit, or at least perceived playing ability

I don't really care too much about matching kit, as long as the mis-match isn't too bad.

Not so much these days but I found players got more stick for matching kit (if they weren't contracted players) than wearing allsorts because they were trying to look like sponsored players.

These days I've got Bulldog Spirit Pads and Gloves so they match but previous to that Newbery pads and Gunn & Moore gloves. My bat is whatever I have at the time, and apart from my asics I have no preference with thigh guards,  helmets, whites etc.

I've only played about 10 times in the last two years and used a bat with my stickers in all but 2 or 3 times. I am losing my love for playing cricket, not the first time and think I'll probably retire from playing or just turn out on the odd Sunday.

for a few seasons i had matching woodworm kit softs, clothes, bag, shoe, thigh pad, whites, hat except for the bat which was a big kahuna.

i have since always wanted to get matching kit but tend to buy my stuff in the sale so dont usually end up matching. i did almost order the gloves to match my new pads but i already have a lovely pair of salix to decided against it

I do have all matching GN kit, all Legend softs (batting and keeping) But that started before I found this forum so my bats may not match soon.  I still think the GN legend equipment is the best available in Aus so I'll stick with that.

My only matching kit is my white pads and gloves! So I don't really care about matching kit
