Are GM Bats good?
«
on:
November 10, 2009, 08:38:33 PM »
I went into my local cricket shop and saw an icon and instantly fell in love with the shape(so...chunky) and pickup. But will the ping be any good?It was an original harrow.
I also picked up a Salix praestanita which had a nice shape, but it was a smaller profile, but the pickup was amazing.
So i was wondering are GM bats good enough ping wise or are the salixs better?
Both bats are around the same price?
So which is better, usually?
Thanks

I have used both. G&M are good quality bats (assuming you go for the higher quality willow!) but personally I find the Salix a fantastic pick-up, balance, and its doing beautifully!! But as everyone says, its personal choice for each person!
