Hi, welcome to the forum! :) Hope you enjoy your stay here, and end up with many more bats than you need. ;)

My opinion is based on many Hunts County bats and only 1 CF bat. In my opinion, Hunts make excellent bats for fantastic prices. CF, at least the one I saw, was an amazing one, a little pricier than Hunts, and took a while to play in apparently, but very high quality.

You can get a G1 custom made Hunts County bat for £165 via Vitas Cricket, who I recommend highly, which will save you around £120 compared to the CF Heritage. He has a good relationship with Tony at Hunts, so will make sure you get a good one!

Agree with Chad. Go through Jake @ Vitas and he'll see you get a beauty from Hunts County

Charlie does some excellent bats. Top three in our league uses them.

Hunts do too and Vitas will see you right.

I think we all know the answer to this... The amount of blanket emails I get each day which have blatantly been sent to every company going just trying to get a discount for no real reason is appalling IMO.

My favourite so far was the father of a 14 year old who had played in 2 county matches and was demanding a full set of free kit as well as 50% off all other purchases - where do people get these ideas from?!

The % off will based on RRP. I very much doubt the price Jake gets is remotely close to the official RRP which will be much higher.

I am not aware of too many sponsorships given out by County, even locally. That's not to say they don't offer them of course.

If you are looking for a custom bat from Hunts made to your spec i am happy to help :)

Still don't get how Hunts 'shelf' bats can be £225 when customs are £165? Surely you'd just ask for a custom like the shelf bat?

That's only through Jake - if you went there directly you'd pay the higher amount, not many people are aware of the custom bats through Jake I imagine!

Tony offered me 40% on my county experience and the fact I know, and work with, one of his best mates sons.

Really top bloke and great bats - in fact I'd ask for another but I'm scared I got too much last time. Don't want to push it. :-[

Not often I feel bad on this front. Should show you what a fantastic bloke he is.
