Thanks for your honesty Palmist, many just follow the herd and making assumptions based on a few peoples view,
The price of this particular stick was 0 as it was a replacement bat

To answer the sticker questions i am not too sure.
Think it is just naming all of the products associated with lekka, best ask James tho

The bats aren't revolutionary as far as the ones I have used go. The ones I have had have been made in England and I believe, Pakistan, and I believe the Pakistani one was made by MIDS (check the top of the handle and James' facebook postings). Mine appeared to be very dry, and went very well, but didn't last very long (roughly 500-800 runs). Depends on what you want really.

The difficulty you will always have is the location of the seller and follow up in the case that anything goes wrong. People have in the past been burned (as per this topic http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=30220.msg476646#msg476646)

Jono, this feels like another Lekka promotion topic. James has been and remains banned for good reasons. As part of that, sales and promotion of Lekka goods are included in that ban. If you do not desist from plastering Lekka about the place, you will also suffer the same fate.

While we try to be fair and encourage open dialogue, there are extremely good reasons for this.

Serious amount of concaving on that bat, not sure any H4L has a profile that extreme. Might be the camera work but those grains don't look very distinct. Hope it serves you well though.

People have in the past been burned.

Intentional pun?

Hi Tim,

I understand that James has annoyed and alleged to have shafted some individuals on this forum.
I am simply stating what i see fit.
I said this bat was a replacement to a broken Lekka, nothing untoward or plastering there. I read that post on the "shabby service"- would be interesting to see the follow up on that thread as I know the bat never made it to James and the customer was not replying to emails from James, thats a bit odd if you ask me but let that one through to the keeper.

I have a feeling i could post any bat on this forum and some individuals would have an issue, unless of course it was a sponsors bat, then i could put up something that is horrendous and it would be deemed amazing.

Its things like this that make me question whether i really want to get involved, I came here looking for knowledge to further enhance my refurb skills and my knowledge of new products,

For all those who are still wondering, i am not James from lekka i am a cricketer in Brisbane Australia.

I am only posting how i see fit, i said days ago i was going to have a thread on a replacement bat for the ever popular burned bat thread
http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=32149.45

is simply that,

So you still have the 12 lekkas you did a video on??

On this bat. It's a decent bat, looks okay. Decent shape. And I don't kind the stickers. Doesn't look g1 so as long as j didn't pay g1 prices. I'd be happy.

But. My issue is that's it's a replacement for a signature. So I'd expect a g1+ sig back in return. It does seem that your broken top line bats has been replaced with a lower grade model.
I could ell be wrong though.

Not even your 20 "birthday" bats? Some which have "way too much concaving for your liking"

Thanks mate, this bat i reckon is on par or even slightly better ping than the signature, much better looking stick as the other had a strip of heartwood,
I am a believer in the performance of a bat rather than looks as i have seen many a bats with perfect straight and spaced grains and white as anything that have been absolute planks.

This bat picks up better but isnt quite as big  as the original in regards to edge size  but is same weight to the gram so could be not as dry
