The grains don't look that clearly defined like you'd get with EW.  Wouldn't be surprised if it's Kashmir or another type of willow...

Has that bat got a lot of concaving or it me just being old fashioned?
Do you tend to hit the ball just with the edges?

Is this character assassination really necessary. We are all sensible enough to make informed choices. I don’t know Lekka or Fly but they at least make interesting reading.

I am not averse to concaving...one of my favorite bats has a lot of concaving but when I middle it, it goes like a rocket! What is interesting is that the bat conditioned me to hit the middle since off middle shots would not go anywhere.  :D As an opener, I edge a few bouncers and short balls, thick edges help.

Glad you have a replacement Fly, sometimes ppl can be harsh. I have sold brand new bats from many different brands but I only wished everyone thought I worked for the brand so I could say it's top of the line and pay me what I want for it lol...hope it scores you lots of runs without breaking.

This bat picks up better but isnt quite as big  as the original in regards to edge size  but is same weight to the gram so could be not as dry

Size does not only depend on moisture content - density of the actual cleft matters as well. So you really can't make assumptions about its moisture content until you saw this one up as well! ;)

Hope the replacement works out for you.

Hi yeah sorry for that

I'm not a fan of big edges at the expense of removing wood from what should be the main hitting zone
Like I said, bit old fashioned

Oh good he's replaced it. Now you can piece back together that old one you had so now you'll have two Lekka bats.

It looks like a decent enough stick, a bit too much concaving for my liking.
As people have said about the stickers they look cheap and tacky, I know it's trivial but if you're paying good money for something you want it to look and go well. It's like the difference between a Toyota and a Ferrari, they'll both get you from a to b but you wouldn't pay Ferrari prices for a prius

It's a big bat for 2.8 even with heavy concaving. Even the shoulder looks pretty thick...or it could be the pics. Hope it goes well for you!

is it worth mentioning that your replacement was a one of a number of bats you already had which you were originally going to sell on to team mates?

I hope you got a nice PayPal refund!

or has James suggested a discount on another product?
