Cracking bag, loads of space for everything. Struggling to find somewhere big enough to store it over the winter it's so large!

Having used both the TON Gladiator elite and GN 1000 I would agree GN is significantly superior bag in terms of design, material and craftsmanship. TON duffle feels cheap and I am not a fan, although it is slightly bigger than the GN.

Jake any chance of seeing what the Kooka duffle looks like? and maybe a comparison of build quality.

Kookaburra bag is nice based on samples. A real judgement can only be made once they have been sold and used.

Surprised by the TON comments, we have had a few returns on the GN bag, I'm not saying the GN1000 is a bad product but the TON one has had fewer returns (if any) and certainly feels sturdier in my opinion, and materials used are definitely comparable with the GN1000.

My concern with TON is the top cover and bottom of the bag, material just doesn't feel as good quality as GN on those parts and I suspect those are the parts that will fall apart first as I take atleast 3 bats every game, also the pockets are a pain. I could be wrong as I have only had it for 2 weeks now, I was expecting material similar to shamrock duffle in the TON bags and maybe that's what disappointed me. I hope Kooka's look better in flesh then in the pics but I am loving all the pockets in the description, could be easy to keep gear organized.

Also had a mate who's GN duffle dropped to pieces before the end of the season - never had a really good look at them to be honest but he wasn't complimentary

I wasn't overly worried by the materials used for mine.
As the TOn bag is designed to carry 2 bats in the internal pockets anyway I can't see an issue with the bottom braking (unless you're carrying lead in there or something)
And as for the top that's not taking any weight as such, so unless you over load it so there's pressure on the zip they will be fine I'd imagine.

I like my TON duffle anyway (especially as it was free!)

You are right but ok if you got it from PDS sale or for free. I was expecting M&H kind of material and was disappointed. Side pockets not being used much, they are not really pockets more like a flimsy partition of the main internal section.

New GM looks a lot sturdier.

I put my batting pads in the side pockets of my Ton duffle. Makes it stand up as well as freeing space in the main compartment. Used it all season without any signs of wear.

Great idea! Does make my new SoftPocket for my new pads redundant but will solve the dilema where to put my whites/odds 'n' sods!
Cheers mate  :)
