Prices over here are ridiculous, but in compared to some the softs are normally priced. Gloves over here go up to $180 I've seen. Madness, just need a Forumite to divert their eyes to here and they'll soon realise the crazy world of forum sponsors and the competitive prices.

What's with this big Kook logo they're going for on the Pads these days? Also were there any softs in stock where you went to or just a few bats?

UK prices are not cheap but the Aussie prices beat the UK hands down for being expensive!
I really hope the UK doesn't catch up!  >:(

I was at the Bella Vista store here in Sydney and they had full sets of the 1877 Black gear. Softs looked great. They are probably no different to any other high end Kooka softs though.

Going to take a lot of coaching, waiting and carpet cleaning to afford that set! If only rent down in Brighton wasn't quite so ruinous... I'm having to save for potential stuff in my other sport as well, but by the middle of next month will know if I need to keep £1k+ saved for that!
Stickers look great, softs look great, and without concaving a bit of a change to all the kookas I've had, which is why I am keen but at the same time gutted that its only available in Aus.

Martin Guptill in his big 237 knock on the weekend looked to be using this bat. Albeit with Kiwi stickers tacked on. Atleast he appears to be..

That is a nice bat. The profile resembles SG sierra 350 released earlier this year

Might be pursuit stickers but certainly different profiles... Plenty of concaving on the pursuit. None on Guptils bat

Yeah, should have specified. When I say Guptill is 'using the pursuit bat', I mean he's using those stickers. God forbid a pro actually use a sponsors blade!

I stand corrected! My apologies, being in Aus, I wasn't even aware such a bat existed. Really nice looking bat, shame it's got the cookie-cutter Kookaburra profile though - mid-middle with maximum concave.
