Are Redback still producing bats?
« on: October 21, 2014, 09:20:29 AM »

Someone at nets last week had a lovely Redback bat, however their website hasn't been updated for while and there are no new topics on the forum.

Just wondered if they were still producing new bats?

They were super sticks, I wish I still had mine. The normally have pretty good softs too - although getting a tad pricey now.

I used a Redback for a few years and it was a great bat. I also used the softs as I got a good deal when buying them with the bat. Great equipment and classy in looks too.

Was going to start a new thread but saw this so thought I'd reignite it. Are they still going?

I was at 'The Cricket Company' shop in Devon about a month and a half ago and they said they placed their order with Redback late last year and since then heard nothing from them...
No conformation of order, no invoice, nothing at all. They took that to mean he was no longer producing bats...

Hello,

Just a quick reply to this one, sorry its taken a while I only pop back here once in a while!!!

I have had no order from 'The Cricket Company' at all, the last time i deal with them was back in 2014.

Just to confirm, yes we are still going strong.

There seems to be something to be said for going down the regional, 'word of mouth' route.

Great bats. 2.8 Paradox currently on ebay:

I would probably go direct but could get £60 saving.

Hopefully getting a bat off them along with a duffle and a pair of gloves. Always been a huge fan and owned a couple so thought I'd return to them now I'm back playing!

Oh how pleased I am that I contacted redback. Gary is great to deal with :). Bat gloves and duffle on the way. Excited is an understatement!
