My new rpc
« on: October 22, 2014, 06:27:36 PM »

Was after a rpc secondhand but couldn't find what I was ideally after
So decided on taking a visit to the pack cave
I New what I was after and got this Indian shaped bat and didn't weigh it as it picked up so well only when I got home I weighed it and it come in at 2lb 10.3 I usually use 2lb9
As it was in close season I got it for a good price and got bat cover to match
As you can see it hasn't got loads of grains but after tapping a new and old ball on it I couldn't care less
More pics to follow

That looks a very nice bat, every time someone talks about their visit to the Pack cave I feel immense jealousy  :-[

Could you share pics of the bat cover? is it padded? did you get a chance to look at any of the softs? wanna sell me this bat ;) j/k

When you have a chance mate I would love it if you could post some pics of the soft, duffle and bat cover before I start harassing RP [emoji4]

Nice looking bat but what's Indian about it. Classy stickers too.

That's the style the bat maker described it as

Looks well finished and those stickers are definitely all class. Not a big fan of the shape however.

bat looks really good. grains are straight and evenly spaced. personally would prefer 8. how much did that set you back? if postage rates reduce then i would love to try quite a few uk brands but with 40 pounds added to the cost of the bat, doesn't seem that good a deal.

Beautiful, the way the 6 grains are spread out so evenly makes the bat look grainier than it is at a glance. Pretty much as well spaced as a 6 grained bat will get! (Excluding the half grain which runs off the RH inside edge) I do dislike this thread, however, as I'm trying to stop purchasing, but I've wanted an RPC/BR, and this doesn't help! :-[ Lovely profile too, a good size for the weight. :)

I've always gone with 8-10 lovely grains and there was bats like this but I
Felt the pick up and how a ball taped up was far superior on this
So  that's why I brought it
And at  the end of the day it's about runs........
