Very good looking bat. Where did you get this from and how much did it cost?

Great stick, those SF bat coffins are super nifty.

I love SF bats, but I hope they sort out their side stamping at some stage... looks like they let a 3 year old loose with some pens and they couldn't stay within the lines!

Looks a beauty mate, our overseas had an SF saphire that went like a rocket launcher.
If this one goes half as well as it looks you're in for a treat.

There is a lot of talk about how limited cricket bats are, and some question exactly how limited they are, but you cannot question it with this bat.  We are getting one more (for a pre-order customer) next week, and ordered one more at the same time, but were told that there are none available again until December 20th...

Where does black edition model sit in the SF range as the range I saw at the lords show there was no model called black edition
Their range was
Optimus
LE
Triump
Sapphire
Powerbow

This is the biggest marketing trick in the book! By artificially creating a 'limited' product you can charge a higher price. No doubt they have a stock/could make a load of these bats but are intentionally withholding supply to create a certain mystique around a bat! From my limited experience in FMCG marketing you either go for volume or ultra premium, this being the latter.

Unless somebody knows different and I would really hope I am wrong, but I fear I am not!

The Black Edition is the very top bat, Asad, and is so limited they don't tend to show retailers any samples.  We hadn't seen any samples before getting our first one, which I admit was a bit risky on our part (and yes, it was a rare IJC bat that wasn't hand-picked), but I guess Anil lured me in with the "certain mystique" of the bat!  :)
