There was a discussion in the summer. When I say 'general release', I mean for people on here.

Tim is the only person ever to order one from us. We can and will still do them, with or without Turbo holes drilled, up to the buyer. Stickers are generally not included (certainly not Turbo ones anyway) but i twisted their arm in this case. Looking at around £100 i believe (will need to check)

Glad to hear the Dynadrive and Hunts are ranking highly, gives me confidence that i can get the right message into a batmakers head to meet a customers needs as well as pick a ready made bat to suit :)

Yes,  it is the worst pick up,  probably because it is the old powerbow shape with a low hump. Second worst is actually the Instinct,  which also has quite a low swell.
That is bit of a surprise with B3 pick up.

Any chance of more pics of that Red ink

Mine was made to order because it's a long blade.

I am not sure they have any stock bats that are there specifically advertised as Butterfly bats. Some of the very lowest models for sub £60 might well be Butterfly, but we can definitely arrange a Butterfly bat to be made to order.

Ahh Tim - I know you love that Dynadrive, it certainly looks a cracker. I'd guess that would be your first bat?

I always liked the Instinct stuff - he was, I assume, another undone by his middle man.

Would the performance of the Instinct outweigh the pick-up?

In terms of favourites,  my dynadrive wins,  as you identify fattus. It's just lovely and I'd jump at another,  maybe in the new year.

The instinct is very,  very good and I would certainly put that second as these stand. And yes,  it was THE middle man that caused the issue.

The Aldred sits comfortably by a long way in third.  Why? Because for some reason,  I struggle to find its middle.  Bouncing a ball and Mallet,  it seems as good as the other two,  but for some reason,  in the nets and matches I've used it,  it just hasn't clicked in the same way.

The other three are in different stages of knocking in so haven't yet been netted with.  As such I can't comment on performance.
Garrett ,  for me long blade is an extra inch though some go up to two.

The hunts finally had a try out last night and it is as good as I suspected. The pick up is marvellous and I felt very comfortable using it. I'd heartily recommend a Hunts Butterfly. I don't think you can go wrong with them. Great price and this one goes!
