Top of the Range Salix or Laver?
« on: November 02, 2014, 11:40:11 AM »

A little Sunday question for you all;

"If you had the money for a Salix Pod Finite made by Andrew Kember or a L&W signature made by James Laver, which would you go for and why?"

In the real world neither.

In the imaginary world off only these two. A salix as it won't put on weight by the time I receive it.

Laver

Had one private bin classic shape bat before and it was nice. Don't have any urge to get a salix, much prefer MH

Just because I've not tried one before a Laver.
Now, where did I leave my credit card...

Salix.....I have a Players grade Supernatural bespoke, and it's simply beautiful and performs better than any bat I've ever had. I have no desire to get a Laver, the shapes simply don't appeal and with the weight issue coming over to the UK, my money would be better spent with Andrew and the team any day of the week.

Heard a lot more about Lavers away from this forum and from ex team mates.

I have voted for the Laver Sig. Not because they are better though. My Salix bats and AJK are amazing and perform incredibly!
My Sig hasn't been used yet, but I have had 6 or 7 Lavers and in my experience, they do take their time to really get going. But when they do, they go stunningly well!
So I voted for the Laver Sig because they are so exclusive!

As good a reason as any Pete!

If I could afford one,  I could probably afford both,  so I'd have both...

rubbish cop out, get off that willow fence.

I am going screaming cat. oh not an option?

salix and I would go down to seek Mr Kember and live the dream.

if I was in Aus/NZ my decision would be the other as I would want the full experience.

now, what should I do with my cenkos?
