Just seen on Twitter that he is doing his bat of the week again. 4 of them to choose from this week!

I was tempted by the £85 bat but 2.12 is far to heavy for me but a decent price, looks very much like an amplus profile from side on.

Never used one but people seem to say there good bats

I was looking at it too but they don't ship here, would have made a good team bat.

Did you have to call them? I am in Canada and their site there was no option to ship overseas.

Yeah I called them. His son took the call. If my memory serves me correctly they took down my card number and I emailed my address.

Nipping over to look at the bat at £85 in the morning.

Charlie is my local bat maker and only 20 minutes away, it's a while since I've had one but for that money in the perfect weight for me it looks spot on.

I put the £85 bat in my cart but stopped myself from getting it. Might have been different if I hadn't ordered a Ton of ebay last night. :)

I actually had a play around with that exact bat. There were some specks on the blade hence the reduction in price. Apart from that it looked quite a nice piece of willow! Pinged really nicely too! (they all do!). Did not really like the profile though - felt too much was taken out of the spine area near the shoulder...
