Kahuna is a popular bat but with kook grading can be weird. Iv seen 1250 models and player models that look like G2/3 bats and 250 models that look like G1.

Most people seem to rate them ok but few rate Kook really high. One problem is you pay a decent whack to make up for there sponsorship costs. At the end of the day mate if that's the bat you want buy one. Now a days most bats once played in will perform well don't come across many planks these days in my view and from what I see.

Yes its a very good bat. One of the top ends in Kahuna series after players I think.

They are good bats but only if you find the right one as some are planks.
I bought a kahuna players bat last year from courage sports which is based in Australia and I know the owner quite well and he has his brother in India who hand picks the bats. So he got me a really good one.
If you want one should contact them. Will get you a realy good kahuna bat.

I've been a long time purchaser of Kookaburra kit and bats - my best advice would be to buy off a forum sponsor or pop in to a shop. Kook grading seems to be done by an actual monkey with a dart board - it is ridiculous - but find a good one and you will be a very happy man....

As well as the grading, the price can vary a lot too.

Some bargains around this time of the season, although cosmetically won't be the cream of the crop.

Always have a look at some 'lower end' Kookaburras.  I got a 450 for £140 and it looks like a £230 bat, plays well

I agree with this, got a Kahuna 400, and it was huge for a 2lb 8oz.

Decent bat that goes went well for me. Usually some good deals around for it which is good, although make sure you get a deal as I wouldn't pay more than 250 for one.

I've bought quite a few kooks off this forum in the last year :D, I agree on the grading you can get some lower end bats that go like stink. I picked up a 350 Kahuna off the forum which a team mate bought off me, he had kook sponsorship deal last season and had a couple of supposedly players Kahuna bats, the 350 went better than his players and is now is main bat. I've got a 900 and 600 Kahuna and tbh they are pretty much the same.  You can defo pick up some good deals on kooks on this forum, which I guess is due to the concaving, but from my experience they are good bats, half my team mates are now using them and they all go. The softs are different gravy!

Contact asad at uzi sports, I've just got a brilliant kahuna phantom which is allegedly low grade but I've got a blemish free bat that is massive for 2.10 and goes like an absolute beast. See the thread in the Uzi sports section.
