F18 500 light

Popped into Owzat Cricket Scarborough on Last Friday after being told they were getting their first lot of 2015 stock.
So I had a bit of choice to make from all of these
Anyway after a good hour sifting through the bats I had made my choice :
F18  500 Light
Weight 2.8.5
Edge size : 39mm
Spine height : 60 mm ish
Any way I'll  let the pictures do the talking

Nice looker. Middle seems pretty high up, so presume pickup is good...

Is that Owzat Cricket Scarborough or Leading Edge Cricket Scarborough?  Wasn't aware of an Owzat Cricket in Scarborough that's all?  Looks like a nice bat and plenty to choose from!

Last time I was in owzat normanton, they was talking about there shop in scarborough. So there is one there, weather they bought leading edge out, or opened a new shop, I couldn't say.

Ah, I see. Still a Leading Edge website and I've seen LEC selling gear on ebay, that's all.  Maybe just not got everything up to date yet?  When did Owzat take it over?  Is the shop at North Marine Road, Scarborough now called Owzat then?

Owzat took over the shop at North Marine Road in June ,while still retaining leading edge cricket  online .
Shop manager plays for my club and one of the previous owner of leading edge did as well before he moved back to Derby .
The Ebay shop is affectively Owzat trying to clear stock but the bats available did sound good off the mallet.

Called in to the shop at Scarborough yesterday as I needed a few bits.  The shop is now signed up as 'Owzat' and the lad who is running the shop told me that they are now owned by Owzat who are based in Derbyshire although I believe the website for the Scarborough shop is still Leading Edge Cricket.  They still also sell items on Ebay under the name of LEC.

The manager was extremely friendly and helpful and they had just recently got all their new GN and GM stock in and there was a very impressive collection of bats in there.
