SM Pintu king of Kings
« on: November 16, 2014, 09:32:45 PM »

These are supposedly Grade 1++ and top of the range from SM so I am assuming it will be both beautiful and packed full of performance. Have any one used these?
I have a supplier in Meerut (India) who is providing these for around £190. OLS have them listed them at around £220 so this looks like a good deal. What say Should I go for it?

I know the forum love the pics so will post as soon as I get them from the supplier.

As promised see pics below. These look very good to me. Your thoughts are welcome.

I have been told both are massive bats with around 40 mm edge size with minimal concaving. Both the bats have similar specs i.e. the profile and the weight.
The bat on the left is 2.10.5 with 12 grains and the other one is 2.11 with 17-18 grains. I play with 2.10 but really like the 17-18 grain one even though its slightly heavier.
I will let the pics do the talking.

Stick those clefts in front of Laver and they'd be setting you back £600 not £190! Both look good to me, worth a punt

Both are top looking bats
I'm not overly fussed on grains so I'd go for the one that's in your weight range personally, but honestly what's .5 of an ounce anyway!

Flip a coin lol

both look really good. have tried US100 plus and king of kings (friend's). both are really good bats and at a price point 30-40% below SS, they are very attractive

I would say one with a thicker handle  ;) size & spine height of 2.11 (more grained one) looks better than 2.10.5. From weight perspective it is difficult for us non-pros to really differentiate 1-1.5oz (with same pickup index)

Ok having bargained with the supplier for last couple of hours, he has agreed to give these bats at a cost of £180 per bat if both the bats are purchased + £25 express delivery to UK which makes it £192.5 per bat delivered to UK. I am buying the 2.11 bat with 17-18 grains. NO PM SELLING.

I don't notice any difference in handle size from the pics provided however I am anyway buying the max grainer :)
