Puma platinum 6000 LE gloves
« on: November 18, 2014, 03:57:28 PM »

Has anyone used these? I've always been tempted to buy a pair of gloves with a coloured palm to stop it getting marked.

Barrington sports have them for £54 but I've just had a email giving me 20% off my first order and have a £10 code too so they'd be around £38 including postage. Great price but I'm just wondering if they're any good before I buy.

Not got these but have been using various Puma gloves for a long time. I have been using the pulse 6000 for the last 2 seasons and they are supremely comfy with the obvious top protection.

Been using the Slazenger Ultimate gloves with grey pittards, really good protection and comfy.

They are the best. Have 2 pairs. Very flexible and amazing grip.

Thanks, sounds like these will be a good buy.

Size wise are they ok and not too small. I've had regular men's in kookaburra, GM etc are puma's pretty much the same?

Regular mens size should be fine unless you have really big hands :)

I'd be snappng those up for £38, used some of the mid range Puma Chromium glvoes last year and was pretty happy with them even if they weren't the hardest wearinig, good protection and comfort. Changing this season only because I wanted higher end gloves and the cost of new Pumas was a bit high, might reconsider if you can get some that cheap.

Edit - sizewise they were good for me, regular mens fitted nicely and I've got fairly big hands.
