My expanding bat collection
« on: November 19, 2014, 03:35:36 PM »

I thought it was about time I shared my bat collection with the forum. Before joining I had two bats and thought that was excessive! This has changed slightly and is also likely to continue to grow as the sale season continues...

From L-R we have Newbery Mjolner, ZX Bronze, H4L Devil, B3 DB1 Butterfly, Kookaburra Ricochet 550, Ton Heritage, Ton Max Power Classic, Hunts County Custom and County Revolution Turbo all are between 2.8 and 2.11. The heritage and custom are the only bats I have used to date and the Newbery is an eBay purchase to have a go at refurbing.

The more and more I see county bats the more I want one. Reminds me of being a kid but I do think they look great. You have a great collection.

I have only just started to knock it in. I'm not planning on using it until my t20 games start in May. It sounds and feels lovely so far. I have high hopes for it based on the heritages performance that I used last season.

If you like the max power try and get hold of the reserve edition. They're unbelievable bats!

I caught the SS bug over the winter  :-[
I've got a full profile Limited Edition I picked up cheap on ebay. The grains are lovely and it goes like a rocket launcher!

I've also got a full profile Yuvi T20 I'd planned to use in the nets, I'm still knocking that one in though and can't bring myself to use a brand new bat in the nets (so have damaged what will be my match bat!)

Better than I expected. I have only used it in a couple of net sessions so far but it has a lovely middle on the odd occasion that I find it. That is more down to my lack of ability rather than the bat.
