Oh god  :( my heart just sunk hearing this... distressed to say the least..

I just hoped that he would come out unscathed after a year playing cricket again. Really really sad day for the game of cricket.

Really sad waking up to such shocking news. RIP Phil Hughes.

Thoughts and prayers go out to his family, friends and all the players who were involved in that match, especially Sean Abbott.

A very sad day for cricket fans everywhere. I put the tv on when I got up and sat on the end of the bed in shock.

This has affected me more than I tjought it would, Phil was someone ive aspired to be like ever since his back to back tons against SA.

It's funny how someone you've never met can affect you
