Haha, recognise each other? There will be some people at the net with no gear... Which is odd... Then there will be others that have 10 bats with them, which is also odd for most places except CBF!

Seriously though.... Top hats could be the way to go.

All my bats are for normal sized people... Just don't have any for short arses! I think the lightest I have is about 2lb 8oz. That will come along with me (the Nemesis Players I got for a song off eBay) as I want to give it a good go.

Just need to knock in one of the others as well.

Hate to be useless but I've now got to work that evening so not gunna be able to do it - if you still wanna go ahead yourselves I can send you the details of who to call to book a net though - apologies! Definitely keen to sort a few in Jan/Feb still
