Bat shopping in India
« on: December 05, 2014, 04:23:47 PM »

Went for bat shopping today . My city has 2 authorized SS retailers. Called up the first one and he had some top end bats like ton players edition . So went today but players edition got sold out.
I asked for full profile bats and to my surprise SG has a new model Sierra 350 with  no concaving . I am not a fan of SG bats but this model is really nice . No concaving , big edges for 2-9 bat.
Also saw SS ton vertu and it had no concaving with duck bill toe.

All bats pinged great

Here are some pics

These are very well priced and the store guy can ship overseas. So if anyone wants let me know and I can help

I am traveling back to USA tomorrow but have the guys contact and can get the bats if needed.

Enjoy the pics .

bats look really good profile wise  :D

good to see SG now offering a fuller profile - as mostly existing models are heavily concaved!  ;)

I am from ludhiana Punjab .
Store is there .
Vertu was 13000 inr and SG was 9000 inr but they give 20% discount. So awesome price for quality bats.

I am planning on stopping by a few shops in Delhi or even drive to Merrut to do some bat shopping next year. While SG offers excellent value for money in my opinion, their top level stuff is quite expensive even in Indian rupees. Same goes for SS.

A cobra max I picked up couple of seasons ago for Rs.8000 was an absolute bliss to bat with.

Looking to get Sunny Gold and one of the Gladiators if I can find a good example at a decent price.

See if you can checkout the SG Sierra 350. I was really impressed with that one - great profile and top quality willow for the price .
