Pads Recommendations

Hi all

So it looks like there are some good looking pads on the market this year (2015 season up coming) and also last years pads look good also, getting paid (with Christmas bonus as well) soon and would love to invest in some new pads for the up coming season as mine are getting a bit tatty and yeah I need help choosing.
So was wondering what you guys all recommend.

what is you budget, that makes a difference.

given most pads are very similar I would go for a brand you really like.

personally I am a huge fan of the Blank Bats new kit, but love my GM kit.

just looking at the sponsors will give you some great options.

You can go with our iwn Uzi pro pads as well as black mamba pads, very few pairs left.
There are plenty available on our web site, TON, Salix etc

Traditional  or Moulded?
personally   I would go for Morrants  or AeroP1.
They look different  but are a different class when  it comes  to weight and protection.

with traditional  just get whichever  stickers  you fancy.

At the moment im using gray nics oblivion e41 limited edition bat and milichamp and hall t2 gloves
I would preferebly want a pad that is plain looking so they match the t2 gloves,
I like the look of the new newbery kudos pads and the vyper venom le pads also.

If you have a budget of £80, the Gray-Nics Legend (although having said that they are actually £99.99) should be on your shortlist as well as the Ton Test Opener, VKS Players Edition. The Ton Test Opener are one of the lightest top end legguards on the market and for really well. We have them in Small Mens, Mens and Large Mens.

I second the VKS pads. I bought the Superlights for £36. They're light indeed, comfortable, close fit/ wrap well around the leg for nimble running and protection satisfactory for 70mph bowling. Going well for the last 5 months being used twice per week. Fair value. If and when I upgrade then I'll will con sider VKS again. Design not to everyone's liking is all. I like the relative lack if branding. I have a review on here if you search under vks.

Good to hear you are happy with the Superlites.

They have the more modern look, whereas the Ultra Series at £44.99 and Players Edition at £69.99 have the traditional design.

All have minimal branding with the main emphasis on comfort and protection with good looks.
