B&S gear at Vitas forum meet 061214
« on: December 08, 2014, 09:04:09 AM »

Morning all,

As promised here's some pics of the B&S 2015 gear launched in full at the Vitas forum meet on Saturday.  Great to meet everyone and chat about all things cricket (though I do think we all need name tags!).

You will have already seen some of the gear here - http://custombats.co.uk/cbforum/index.php?topic=32171.150 - this has pics of the blue split finger gloves and the duffles.

The quality of the bats, from the shapes to the finish and stickers, all of which are embossed, are top quality.  That, coupled with the excellent prices (check out the £100 Assegai 3 stars) of the bats and softs and Gary has done a great job with the 2015 range.  I'm sure he'd be happy to answer any questions you have.  More info on the GP274 range below with the pics.

Assegai 5 star (2.12)

Impi (model shown one of Hamish Gardiner's for the WC - 2.8 or 2.9 I believe). There was also a long blade Impi at about 2.12 that picked up very well.

Sausage finger softs - great quality and very comfortable.  Didn't get any pics of the split-finger gloves, but you can see those via the link above.

GP274 sample gloves.  DISCLAIMER - As Jake has mentioned in a previous post, these are to give an idea of the design and quality - the branding will change.  The gloves have a great retro look to them - my camera phone hasn't done the colours justice, the pale blue logo and writing combined with the tan wrist straps work really well... Limited to 100 bats, 100 pairs of pads and gloves.

Assegai & Impi pads (you can see the GP274 sample pads in the background, which have a tan leather instep and lining for the top hat).

GP274 bat shape.  Gary is still waiting for clearance on the stickers, which he said will be black and gold.

Assegai 3 stars in the background and B&S laminate bat with SA branding stickers.  It taps up extremely well!
