Gary, showed them on at the forum day.

The one I had a look at was lovely and tapped up nicely.  A real bargain for the money.

Hopefully that's the one Jake is sending to me or has dispatched to me.. couldn't resist after getting some pics of the 3 he currently has and the price including postage is a bargain any way you look at it.

Will do an initial review with pics when I get home for Christmas  :D

Personally for these at this price I can't see how anyone can possibly be looking elsewhere for a bat to compare for £100 that's cheap Indian made money
They even look good and I am sure they perform as well
my le is outstanding although shape is different to what I've used before
Top work to provide at this price

Will most bats look like the ones in the pic though that is the question. 100 squid for one in the pic proper bargain but what will others look like? not trying to be facetious but you must understand why I would ask!

Not the greatest photo in the world, but there are plenty of really nice ones in that little pile of goodies.

Ok Gents... feast your eyes on the one I received from Jake... what a lovely welcome home for Christmas  :D

I'm stunned by the value (100 gbp posted) when compared to the finish, embossed stickers are truly beautiful in these colours (although removed the 'English Willow' one as it detracted from the main sticker) and following stats/pics:

8 evenly spaced grains in total with the 8th right on one edge without a blemish in sight!!! 3 of the grains are ever so slightly wavy but barely noticeable unless on close inspection...

Weight - feels like just over 2.10 (digital scales back in Prague) with a neutral pick up i.e. neither light or bottom heavy... pretty well balanced with the current white GM Shock Absorba grip that Jake kindly put on. Might experiment with an extra grip when I get back...

Interesting amount of concaving unlike any of my other bats and the spine seems to flatten out about 70 mm from the toe hence the shape of it.. see the pics below from the toe and toe up.

Max edge: 35 mm
Max spine height: 56 mm
Toe: 20 mm

It'a a bit late to start knocking it in today and testing the ping with a mallet (I've brought back with me), so will update this post in the next few days.

Thanks again to Jake at Vitas for top service and comms as always. He's a very honest bloke considering I can't be in the shop to pick up any of his bats...

Welcome any comments and happy to answer any questions...
