Reduced spine at around 55mm gone for coverage . It has split decisions at HQ Streaky not sure i love it...

Yep tried something of the sort with Kalimarr smaller edges bigger spine ratio..

The GN Scoop goe me thinking mass issues..

Oh no i have designed a bat that is quid even the whole way through from edge to middle.

It is no plank and GN Scoop intrigues me because i have used them and some have gone very well with not much thickness at all.

I know some including Streaky are all scientific yet i'm a user and i think mass over this that and the over is overrated.

For club cricketers coverage of performance will always be better than a small one because where not good enough to hit it more often than not where we like.

So i have designed this something a bit different which is from a few bats and sawn together and will see.

People at Dotball on Friday can have a look at this and all mine and Streaky the designer designs...

And also what i'm trying to do is get the maximum volume of wood into a bat in the right areas as i know not everybody wants or can afford a crown so what i try and do is see what can be done also at higher density so people can have most of the wood in the hitting area yet have something that pick up ok the Kalimaar was great at that but still a ounce or two over what i wanted it to be at normal 400 density

If I understand correctly you want to keep material in the hitting areas but want to keep weight down. Why don't you reduce the thickness of the edges? I'm not sure I have ever understood why people want thick edges and this May help you to keep material in the spine.
Maybe I'm just an old duffer but there are plenty of stories of cricketers hitting massive sixes with bats barely an inch and a half thick.

Good point please look at the kalimarr this did this happy about this just trying something else based on a couple of other bats out there.

I wanted a equal out the bat yet unlike another convex bat it picks up better this due to the gentle wood out around the toe.

It a idea no more to see if it possible.

The kalimarr is designed for weight out of the edge and into the spine and meat.

I like it David, it looks like it has lots of 'junk in the trunk' - I'd pay for that profile.

If it works for tour and BB hulk this will work too....not everyone can middle all the time...a as much as I like the high spine, big edges with small spine and 0 concaving is an ideal bat for a clubbie. ..

Certainly my kind of stick, wood everywhere where an average clubbie like me plays. If I could hit in the middle more often I would have been facing Mitch now and trying to duck a few deliveries.

Dave, what does the toe measure?
How much would the finished weight be if the toe was 35mm ish?

The profile is very similar to how my old laver was, after I took a lot of weight out of it
