Collecting my Softs from Gary tomorrow.

Looking forward to getting them. Will post pictures unless someone beats me to it

I think the GP274 is my favourite kit, probably ever.
Classy softs, which are no doubt high quality, the profile of that bat is lovely. And the stickers are incredibly stylish, right up my street.

Shame they're a Limited Run, as i'm not in the market for any kit atm, but would love some. Hopefully someone knocks one in, stores it (including softs, obviously  :-[ ) and then sells it this time next season!

I think they need a nice brown leather kit bag to call home - not a fluorescent duffle....

That's a great call.  If a GP274 wheelie bag was introduced with similar styling to the pads I'd have one.

Classy, more pics of bat please.

Does anyone think softs remind of M&H

Picked my Softs up this evening only had a quick look at them and am super impressed the quality is second to none.

I'll do more of a review when I get the time.

I also saw the keepers gloves and again these where great. The leather is really soft and the colours look smart.

Going to have to buy some new shoes to go with these pads. Need someone understated such as the black new balance shoes.

Wheelie would be great didn't Slazenger do a retro leather bag?

Hi

I see that there have been no recent posts in this thread. Just wanted to know how many of the forum members have actually bought and used the GP274 bats / kit; I could see only 2 purchases by other forum members in addition to No.1 which went to AOC & I have bought one. Could not see any reviews from those who have bought the bats and might have used them either (or I have missed the reviews).

Mine is a lovely piece of willow, no doubt about.  Only problem is, the Impi I got at the same time is proving an even better piece of willow - don't think I've ever felt such a big bat pick up so easily.

Mine looks too nice, haven't had the heart to use it yet! Taps up as good if not better than most of my collection

Have the softs (mock up set actually), just broken them out and gloves especially are very nice.

I have bat, pads and gloves.  Love the look of the softs and the feel of the bat, have also paid to have the bat knocked in.  Only used the gear in three net sessions and at the moment still using my trustworthy Nixon bat and old softs from last year.  Love the B&S kit but currently have nearly £400 worth of gear sat doing nothing!  Not sure whether to keep hold or sell but the money could come in handy at the moment.  :-[
