Repair Dilemma
« on: November 19, 2009, 09:49:12 PM »

This is a first for me.........

I got through the post a lovely bat but it has delaminated on the face.

I love the bat, it has 37mm edges and weighs 2lb 9oz on my scales, with 9 blemish free grains.

The delamination is around 2cm high and 1cm wide, but its right where the middle is! I was wondering if anyone has had an experience with using a delaminated bats? Does it matter or should I get it repaired?

Its where there is an internal crack, causing the bat to sound and feel hollow in the middle or the place where it is delaminated.

Yeah it still pings really nicely, and I dont really want to send it back to get it repaired, because it has the old style v389 stickers on and its looking really good. Although, if i play with it for a season, then the crack could get worse!! This is the dilemma :P
