OK, so just ordered an MRF today off Nick. There's been a few emails to and fro and pics sent over of various bats. Finally settled on a 2lb 8 MRF Genius. Pics look really good.
Nick has been very helpful, upto now all good. Proof is in't pudding though. So I'll report back when the bat arrives

Tried to insert an image! - It works for me if I right click the image and open in new tab??
Thanks,
Mike

What a grainy beauty. Do you mind sharing the cost

Cost was £240. Yes it was a grainy beauty.

When we got it though - it was for my son (16 yrs old), it just felt a bit too heavy - it weighed 2lb 9.5, and should have been 2lb 8. It was a bit bottom heavy, not that light on pick up. Good for driving, which on a lot of UK wickets might well be the bat of choice. Too heavy for my son though.

It got sent back to Nick, and Nick gave a full refund, including cost of all postages, which to his credit is excellent service. The bat wasn't right for my son, but that's the risk you take when ordering over the internet. Although not too much a risk when you get such a good service.

I would recommend Nick and DKP to anyone. The bat was a good bat, just not right for my son. So back to the drawing board....looking for a 2lb 8 bat(or very slightly less) light on pick up...

Thanks,
Mike

Take a look at some if the Bellingham and smith bats Mike or get something bespoke made up (takes the risk out).

I had a return issue with Nik prior to his website launching - didn't get a postage refund even though it was a item mis sold 😢 but couldn't knock the quality.

I've dealt with Nick quite a few times and i have to say his service levels are second to none and the bats he stocks are half bad either!

I have just ordered one of their own branded bats to try but have had 2 x New Balance bats previously that have been absolute guns!

Highly recommend!! :D

I thought my experiences deserved him to get a bit of credit where credit was due?

I'm sure Nic does some great bats. My only comment is that I haven't ever seen an Mrf grand edition with rounded toe. These usually have square toe. And the Mrf embossing on the side looks a bit wonky. That said, Mrf are known to supply several different variants from their several factory suppliers... What das the date of manufacture on the ticket?

I bought some SS Test Openers pads from him... and then just after placing the order I changed my mind and wanted a different pair. I was told they didn't have them in stock and he would send me original order.

On receiving pads I decided to return them... to be told he amazingly had my other ones in stock. I wasn't impressed and returned my order.

Also his website keeps showing people purchasing orders within the last few hours when it's complete BS. It kept showing my name and order days after with 'bought x hours ago'.

Products okay... service meh!
