Custom Made Dilshan Spec CA TRD Big Bang Pro Grade Cricket Bat

Delighted with my new purchase... :D
Custom made by CA to Dilshan's spec but with a few minor changes.
Exact same pick of wood used for Dilshan's bats, this is a beast of a bat.

Specs;

41mm edge
67mm spine
2lb 10.4oz

The blade is longer than your standard CA bats, and the handle is shorter, making it a standard short handle.
In the pictures with two bats together, mine is the one on the left and you can see it is a slightly bigger blade than the normal CA Big Bang TRD bat.

Dilshan's bats weigh 2lb 8.4oz and are slightly concaved.
This has a fuller profile, hence weighing that little bit more.

However, I must say, it has fantastic pick up and balance, it feels an ounce or so lighter.
I've not used it in the nets yet but when tapping it up; the ball pings off it.

Can't weight to start using it this coming season!!!

In fact, I've spoken to and shown the bat pictures to a few other CA bat dealers in the UK and even they are impressed with this bat's profile and spec.
A friend (after seeing my bat) has been asking a few UK CA bat dealers for a custom made cricket bat and is struggling to find someone who can get one made to his spec... :o

Looks like you can't really get custom made bats from just any CA bat dealer out there... >:(

I've recommended Hanif from Eclipse All Sports to him and guess what - he's getting a custom made CA SM-18 pro grade cricket bat from Eclipse All Sports to his spec. :)
Eclipse All Sports are genuinely nice people to deal, the best customer service I have received from any bat dealer, they go out of their way to make sure you are happy.
Fantastic customer service, great communication throughout the process, very knowledgeable and very, very nice people to deal with.
So if you need a custom made CA cricket bat; I would very strongly recommend speaking to Hanif from Eclipse All Sports - anyone who has ever dealt with him, will also be singing his praises.

Email CA on their official website, lot of guys previously had contacted them directly through website.

Thats a lovely looking bat, sometimes the confidence we get at looking our bat makes the difference on the pitch.

we can get you custom made CA bat according to your spec so not sure why other OFFICIAL CA Stockist in UK can't get these. As long as you are happy to pay the asking price you can get any bat made in your specs

What would be your asking price for a CA Pro Grade cricket bat to the spec I've mentioned on the initial post? Say, for the same bat?

I am going to Pakistan next month to get our bats made from selected clefts from CA, would let you know price to every one on the forum. The price also depends on if the seller has got a shop or only internet shop

I was lucky enough to visit the showroom as I only live 30 minutes away, so I was able to have a feel of the bat before committing (a great touch by Hanif to give me that option and it made me want to take it away with me straight away!). I fell in love with it the minute I picked it up. The service and overall process from initial enquiry through to payment and after sales service and advice has been brilliant and I really can't thank Hanif enough!

Yeah, you can just go direct to CA and tell them exactly what you want.  Make sure you are very clear that the weight you ordered is the "finished weight"... otherwise it will be 2ozs heavier than you ordered.

CA make nice bats but they are somewhat of an acquired taste (prepare to cope wisecracks from the slips about your bling cinderella).
