peter trego in any ones team?
batting looks the equal of the current team to me. bowling looks light

does Hales qualify?
what about lees or lyth too?

Good shout for Trego. Why isn't he getting a sniff? He's still only 33.
And are we allowed to pick Banger Trescothick?

Trego is not good enough to be one of five bowlers with the ball, nor is he good enough as one of the five batsmen.

Bowling - difficult to tell.  In tests, we don't have the depth that say Australia do - but in this format, what the second string side have is variety.  Drunky and Footitt are quicker than the main squad and Mark is left arm too, whilst Napier is a proper death bowler with pace, and Rashid is a more likely wicket taker than Ali or Tredders.

Lumb
Pietersen
Trott
Vince
Stokes
Patel
Billings
Rashid
Plunkett
Mills
Brooks

Squad players: Roy, Parry, Bresnan, Trego

Strong team I'd say! Would like to find a better back-up allrounder than Trego though as I think that line-up may require too much bowling from Patel if Mills has an off day. Would be making the phonecall to Sidebottom to try and persuade him in as the left armer!

England have poached many South Africans over the years, might've taken the wrong South Africans...AB might've been the one to steal...

We gave cricket to the world... Therefore you should give us your best players.

Seems like sound logic to me!
