My visit to see asad at Uzi sports
« on: January 18, 2015, 07:23:55 PM »

I went to see asad today and all I can say is the quality off the bats in his shop is superb I can't belive their is that many bats under one roof I must off picked up over 100 bats and all was very nice indeed in the end I went for a stunning Salix supernatural and a chase volante and the gladiator elite asad was a real gent and manged to get my c6 refurbished it's come back like a brand new bat now for the picture you all want to see  :)

Sure is mate very impressed and it's worth the trip from Kent to see the bats really like the chase bats the performance was really good on them I went for the r4 as it just felt so responsive off the mallet might not be the best looking but boy does it ping  :D

Ah Chase, my local batmaker! My first bat from then was an R4 (then 150) and what it lacked in supermodel looks it made up for in performance! They're really nice bats mate, in sure you'll be pleased with it.

I love the Cadbury Newbery stickers, that looks top drawer! It really does look brand new stood in that lineup.

And that Gladiator caught my eye straight away! Full profile and duckbill toe, bat porn! What's the weight and edge size Si?

The gladiator has a 41 mm edge and it's 2.9 very pleased with it mate the chase just felt so nice when I hit it with the mallet I knew I had to have it for me it felt better than the higher grade chase bats so it just shows what you can get if your prepared to go though all the bats

It is very hard to pick which bat to use I am pleased to get my c6 back as it's a gun off a bat and are quiet rare now

This seasons Ton bats don't have the stickers on the side or on the back at the bottom of the bat. Whilst it is the fuller profile I would guess it is last seasons stock.

I hope you're right about the willow as I picked up a max power in the Lords sale. I'm also very tempted by what I have seen of Chase recently.
