I believe there is a thread on here where people measured the edges and width of the bats, unsurprisingly or surprisingly most of the bats had something worth noting. On a lot of the bats the edge was bigger on one side than the other, a lot of the bats were full 108mm but a lot were also a few mm less. some were full width in certain areas of the bat and narrower up/down from that spot.
Someone will need to find that thread as I am too lazy but the general opinion was its not a big deal. I purchased a Lekka TPX a few years ago, it was advertised a T-20 bat (shorter blade) but the retailer never mentioned that it was also a narrower width, 4 inches instead of 4.25 inches, to me that was a significant difference but it also pinged like amazingly well and i never felt any issues using it in a game, a few mm here and there are not even noticable in a match I would reckon its similar to change in performance due a scuff sheet type issue...you can't tell the difference except for whats in your head. I probably lose a few mm when I clean my bats up anyways.
Although one brand that is consistently shorter and narrower is CA but they do make lovely bats. Your SF is a great looking bat, hope it plays well for you.
