I told mine about shoes too and apparently I have more bats than she has shoes - then she said what's a bat worth compared to a pair of shoes. Think she has me there!

@Jenko , how is the performance of Joker Extreme? What is the weight, edge thickness? Sweet spot location? Is it an over-dried or low-density cleft?

My missus knows how many bats I have and she knows how much there worth.  She isn't stupid.


She doesn't complain though, as it's the cheaper of my two addictions.......

Mate the performance is great, one of the best of them all. As you would expect having a lump of wood like that!

Never measured edges or anything but can do that when I get home this arv. It weighs 2'12 or at least that's what I ordered. It's a joker extreme. Sweet spot is most of the bat! I might have a profile pic of it I will get one up.

thats an impressive amount of cars.

i thought the rule for the amount of bats was n+1 anybody you complains obviously doesnt understand the need for a massive willow collection

What's the old cliche ,My biggest worry is that when I die my wife will sell my bats for what I told her they cost :)

My other half probably has ten times the number of bats I have in shoes,  and all were more expensive than my bats. And still I have too many,  apparently,  but she can still buy more shoes. Go figure...

I've got a couple of bats and a load of old kit in the garage, a bat and more kit in the wardrobe in the spare room that I don't think she knows about.

Gotta work out how I'm going to get a new set of Softs in at the weekend.

I think I might have to eBay some kit as it's becoming harder to conceal it around the house

I've just ebayed loads of old gear.  Got 6 pairs of pads and 5 bats sat here ready for the courier to collect today.  Making room for the new B&S 274 gear arriving later in the week hopefully.  Did ok with the ebay gear overall but a bit demoralising when you spend the time to list and package a couple of pairs of pads that sell for less than £2!  :-[

Yeah I have to try and cull a fair bit on ebay. Find it hard to get motivated to take all the photos and get it all up there!
