IMHO players, celebs whoever need to wise up when using twitter. its free news for the press. If its not your field of expertise leave it alone and get on with your life or you will inevitably end up making some form of embarrassing apology.

Don't understand why people would get offended. Probably have nothing better to do for 5 minutes

re: the tax ... I'm sure whilst representing his country he is employing a cunning tax advisor so he pays f all back... I'm a life long Notts fan but I truly dislike the spoilt, cosseted child
Notts should have pinched someone else then shouldn't they ;)

It is not like he is committing benefit fraud and robbing us tax payers.

Oh dear. People's ignorance continues to astound me.

I asked for it, I suppose.

You are right, it was ignorant of me to assume all are tax payers, I take it back.

Now go buy another bat :-)

Just taking the tweet as it is - £6.50 an hour is relative to the cost of living in that country. You might be able to live comfortably on less in other countries but not in the UK. Anybody even thinking it's ok, needs their heads examining. Why we can't move to the living wage is beyond me - wait no, it's to do with the government subsidising business by paying benefits to those on minimum wage because business won't pay a fair wage (I'm talking big business not the thousands of struggling small businesses). If you paid living wage then thousands of people would start paying tax,be better off and claim less benefits, that's a terrible thing isn't it?

If Broad is worth 700k, then I'm seriously underpaid as a cricketer.

Good post. It is actually big business that is scrounging most off the state.

You should be more worried that there are people in this country that can not afford to eat properly, than you should about their inability to pay tax.

Going to close this off - it feels like an argument waiting to happen - especially as this is a bit of a non issue.
