funny one this and always makes me wonder about the size difference across styles, makes and brands. Took a guess with these three as I had a pair of Asics trainers before.

Leather office style shoes from size 7 - 9

Workmen kind Boots from size 8 - 10

Asics Running Shoes - Size 10 but always found them tad too big
Adidas 22yds spikes - Size 8.5
Adidas Running Shoes - Size 9
Some other Adidas trainers - Size 10 but fits perfect

I'm not even going to try and guess as they're all over the place!

When buying trainers/lightweight cricket shoes I've found Asics and Puma to be similar size wise, with Adidas and Nike fitting a tad smaller.
Will be interesting to see what the difference between brands actually is

8.5 and 9 has been standard to me but recently I have comfortable in Size 7, these have mostly been leather office kind of shoes. But still massive difference.

They are not showing on Asics website.

Shoes are here and 9.5 is a snug but good fit for me, definitely go half a size bigger if anyone is considering buying these. The padding and cushioning inside is certainly better than any other shoes I have tried. I think the protection around toe area is quite decent too. Spikes are a different some pin type.

I have taken the spikes out and was able to move around just fine so will be using them in nets.

2014 I guess as they have strike  rate 4 now.

Advance  Gel is top model I think.

For 52quid I think they are very well made and good value for money.

Looking at those, I had an older pair of them a few seasons back.
The thinner spikes are fine, until you lose one and have to pay over the odds for a new set from Asics  :(

As for sizing, I could fit me feet in a size 9, but it was snug, so I went for 9.5
As your feet expand during play, I'd rather allow a bit of room for this rather than have them snug to begin with then become uncomfortable.

Thank you for your prompt response. I am not fan of Gel Advance as I find them to be very stiff, didn't work for me.

I play on synthetic, so can rubber spikes be inserted except those metal/pin ones? I'm not too sure as I notice they are different type ones as you mentioned.

The pins can replaced with specialist blank pins for indoor/synthetic use. Normal generic rubber spikes work work.
