Almost new Mongoose, £41ish, probably not bargain of the century but was pretty happy.

Managed to pick up a Canterbury 500 #069 recently for 30 odd quid. It's been refurbished for a crack in the toe which seems to have been fixed well albeit uniquely. Apart from the repaired crack which I have taped to keep it secure it seems to be in very good nick. It taps up very well and should be a great net bat at the very least.

Enjoy the pics which prove its existence.

@kenbriooo was that the one on eBay that had been repaired with nails?

Yeah, thought I'd take a punt with it. It's got a few small tacs hence the extra layer of bat tape over the edge but as you can see from the pictures they're small . Seems to be ok when knocking a ball on it and with the added protection of the tape I'm sure it'll be good for a long while.

Got this absolute gem on eBay this week.

*Heavy breathing*

This cost me £49.99 posted, and weighs in at 2lb 8.7oz with a pick up index of 2. (Personally think it's a 1) It's brand new too, and has been kept in good condition! A GM Purist 303 was actually my first senior bat, so this does bring back memories, although my 303 was far too heavy for me then. (Don't know how much it weighed, just bought according to budget and stickers) Building up quite the collection of my first bats, with a Kook Genesis, Woodworm Torch and this Purist. All that's left is a Kook Beast, GN Phoenix and a Woodworm Flame. :)

Just picked this up for 87 pounds posted, been looking for a Long Blade bat for a long time, but oddly for a member here I hate buying bats completely new (get to terrified to use them when their shiny) so it's not often I get the chance to pick up a LB. Just hope Matt is able to provide a new set of stickers for the back.

I'll leave full judgement until I've scored 100 with it, but on face value it seems a good deal, presumed 75 was the starting price and nearly fell off my seat in my rush to clik buy now when I saw it was a buy it now deal.

A month or so ago i managed to pick this M&H Solution from eBay for a great price - the chap i bought it from told me it still needs abit of knocking in - he said it has been used only for a few throw downs so pretty much unused! all for £120 I am very pleased. I have given it a quick sand and oil and have also popped some shoe goo on the toe. Here are a few snaps
