Ton, Woodworm and M&H duffles
« on: February 03, 2015, 04:36:30 PM »

Yesterday i started a new topic about what you all thought about the woodworm pro series duffle and what reviews where like. As a comparison, my bag ideas for the season was the woodworm, the ton gladiator duffle or the millichamp and hall ck22 duffle , what is everyones thoughts about the duffle bags, size wise, quality wise and features wise.
Also any comparisons or recommendations to the woodworm duffle would be much appreciated.
Thanks

I used the ton duffle last season and will be doing so again this season.  My only issue with it is the lack of a small zipped pocket for valuables. Other than that a few have had issues with the bat sleeves and struggle to get their bats in. I haven't had this issue myself and have two high spines bats in there without problems.  No rips or tears to report either. If you wait for this years model it is supposed to be slightly bigger than last years.

My initial thoughts on the TON duffle:

And how much fits in there can be seen in my kit bag video:

I narrowed my choice down to the Ton or the gn1000. I spent ages looking at the woodworm on eBay (I was moving to a duffle from a woodworm wheelie) and kept hearing good things about the ck22 but they just didn't stand out to me. I got to see the Ton and the GN side by side at a net. The ton was bigger but the GN felt a classier duffle. The lack of little pockets on the ton put me off. In the end I went for the kook pro duffle. All that research for nothing! It has All the size of the ton, classy like the GN but far better pockets in my opinion. I did a review and someone else posted a vid showing just how much you can get in it. It's a little more expensive but I think it's well worth it. Some people have picked up the ton duffle for 25. At that price it's very hard to not buy it but at 40 I would still go for the kook even though it's 10 more at 50.
It really depends on what you value, price, space, looks etc etc but they are all good bags in my view.

I have used the CK22 duffle for around a year now. Its a good size and you can get plenty of kit in it, the build quality is also really good. The downside for me is that there aren't any small pockets for valuables and you can sometimes find yourself tipping everything out to find something!!

I got mine when they had just come out and were about £35, i think this is a fair price but the recent hikes to over £50 for some duffles seems a bit excessive to me.
